Newport Rhode Island

 
 This past weekend we took a little trip to Rhode Island because my husband's niece graduated from Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island.
Lo scorso weekend abbiamo fatto un piccolo viaggio in Rhode Island, perché la nipotina di mio marito è laureato di Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island.
 While there we visited Newport, Rhode Island.
Mentre ci abbiamo visitato Newport, Rhode Island.
Newport was the summer home of the very wealthy.  
Newport e' stata la residenza estiva per molti dei ricchi.

This is "The Breakers" built for Cornilius Vanderbilt II.

Hey... who is this middled-aged lady? 
Oh... it's me ??!!
Chi e' questa signora di mezza eta'???
Oh.... eccomi  ??!!
(Nota:  "mezza eta' " (middle aged)  questo e' in italiano corretto ?)

    Oh, don't you just love Newport! I'm glad you got to see The Breakers. That is the most opulent of all of the mansions. If you ever go again, you MUST see Rosecliff. That is my favorite and I can picture myself living there. ;)
    And you certainly do NOT look like a middle-aged lady! You look like you're about 30 to me!

    Sei bellissima E che bei posti che potete visitare. Mi piacerebbe essere lì con te e poterli guardare insieme. Metti delle foto spesso così assapore un po della tua terra, così tranquilla e piena di prati e verde....invece qui a Milano c'è sempre un gran caos e baccano, gente che corre, ecc....
    Però abbiamo anche noi le nostre belle zone, non posso lamentarmi.

    Sounds like you had a wonderful trip. I've been to Newport too and wanted to tour some of those beautiful mansions but hubby said we didn't have time!!
