Save the Chimps Permanent Sanctuary in Florida

This post I want to share a special place ... SAVE THE CHIMPS Chimpanzee Sanctuary in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Questo post e' da una cosa molto speciale... SAVE THE CHIMPS scimpaze' santuari a Fort Pierce, Florida.

It was founded in 1997 by Dr. Carol Noon as a permanent sanctuary for chimpanzees used in the United States Space Program, chimps rescued from research labs, former pets, and entertainment chimps.

I am going to show some disturbing PICS of research lab conditions for chimpanzees.
But, I also want to share the wonderful conditions and new lives of the chimps at the sanctuary in Florida.

Allora, alcuni PICS molto triste, del laborati, ma poi bellissimi PICS del santuario.

"Carlos" in a research lab.
"Carlos" nel laboratorio.
Now, "Carlos" living at the sanctuary in Florida.
Allora, "Carlos, la sua vita in lo santario.
"Ebony", before and after life in the sanctuary.

Oh, how nice of her to make such a wonderful change of life for the Chimpanzees!!! I'm happy to see their relaxing, lovely faces. And how sad to know that she's already died. Truly admire her for her efforts!!!
Lots of love and Hugs xoxo, Orchid

  3. The poor animals looked so sad and stressed with their arms crossed, glad to see them so changed and relaxed! it's a nice thing she did, a great thing in her short life.

(a samovar on my blog is to keep tea warm, it comes from Russia) Good day Catherine

  4. Those before and after photos were amazing! Did you see the new "Planet of the Apes" movie? (I did a 'review' of it on my blog.) It was a good movie. It's funny that one of the places in the movie looked exactly like one of the photos you showed above (all of the cages lined up). How sad that the Founder of the sanctuary passed away from cancer... but she helped so many animals, she must be in Heaven right now!
    Best,
    Gloria
